    Gta V crashes on sp4 i7

I have enough trouble (well not so much these days) running it on my gaming PC, never mind a machine with no dGPU.

**UPDATE: Battery Issue: Brought Into MS Store... Suggestions?

I'd never trust a store with my data, do a wipe yourself :)

Microsoft 'Nerfs' OneDrive by Reducing Storage Tiers and Eliminating Unlimited for Office 365 Users

How can you 'abuse' unlimited storage? If you can't handle people using it don't advertise that amount of storage.

    Mini display port question

Ideally as above you want to avoid converting the signal back to analog VGA. Your monitors at home, do they have DisplayPort? If so you can just get a cable with no conversion needed other than going from miniDP to DP. I used a cheap eBay miniDP to HDMI once but it maxed out at 2056 x 1024...

Surface Pro 4 Vs Ipad Pro

TLDR The iPad costs less than the SP4. Shocker.

    SP 4 Core M3 vs SP3 Core i5?

I shouldn't imagine the difference would be too much - however I did notice my i3 SP3 felt noticeably slower than my i5 SP2.

Buy at the us store from Europe

I've purchased from the US to UK before, but normally you'll pay £50 shipping and then get taxed. Last time DHL paid the tax to the Queen or whoever gets it and essentially held my parcel to random until I paid them. Another time I got my parcel and never heard anything about tax. 3 months...

    i7 Gaming Potential

Yeh I had a problem with a credit card sized squared in the lower right that was just garbled pixels. AMD acknowledged it and the solution was to turn off MSAA :/ Had some instances of invisible world too sometimes but that seems to be random. Has been better with the latest beta drivers though!

Linux on Surface pro 3 windows 10

"Possible" is one of describing it. You can get Win7 installed, but half the stuff doesn't work and it would be even less with Linux, even an Ubuntu variant. I'd just do it in a VM.

    Complaint about quality

Also a Dell fan here! Though I've never used their PCs, but their monitors are fantastic!

Linux on Surface pro 3 windows 10

I don't believe so no. I think the UEFI makes it a bit tricky. Also, why would you want to do such a thing?!?!?!?!

    i7 Gaming Potential

Ha yeh 500 is way too overkill (though my mate did buy a Titan X... yep, for £900...) I have a MSI 7970 with 3GB in my rig, bought it 2nd hand for £120 plus £45 for custom cooler. Plays everything just fine (and below 55 degrees) including GTA V which is why I bought it haha. So that's about...

    i7 Gaming Potential

Well both games support Xbox One controller so that helps... But $500? Maybe just on the gfx card :P

    Surface pro 4 i5: 4gb or 8gb RAM?

None really, there shouldn't be any noticeable difference in RAM usage for extra monitors. It will use more CPU and graphics power however... Which seeing as the intel graphics use the RAM as their VRAM I guess technically means there would be more RAM use...

    i7 Gaming Potential

Fallout 4? Maybe not looking at the graphics spec requirements... NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent Intel graphics aren't mentioned, and they have no dedicated VRAM. You could probably run it but would be pretty poor performance.

    Surface Book 2016 improvements

I fear then as you say weight will cripple it. The top half would be too heavy for it to be stable. The whole reason for the 'fulcrum' hinge with its unique unrolling nature is to compensate for the weight of the clipboard section, and that's even with the lower feature set. Imagine adding in...

Surface Book is Actually 3 Times Faster than the MacBook Pro (in GPU benchmarks)

I had a similar call from an older client who's son had bought her a 15" MacBook Pro (a good one, we're talking like £2k of machine here) and immediately had Windows running in VMWare on it and she never used OS X...

Surface Book is Actually 3 Times Faster than the MacBook Pro (in GPU benchmarks)

Yeh I think this is largely a failing on the methodology used. The Book itself is mighty impressive. Perhaps a more direct comparison would be to install win10 natively on the MacBook and see how the games perform.

My sp3 struggled with 4gb with everyday things sometimes, I'd definitely go 8gb
