Check your settings on your TV for something called Just Scan and set it to that. It's probably in the aspect ratio settings.

My solution was to get a USB C external battery with at least 30 watts of output along with a usb c to surface fin charging cable. It works great for just the tablet. It will keep it charged for a day in battery saver mode. The cable is 6 feet which gives me enough maneuvering room.

I tired that manual release and just couldn't get it to work. The vents are totally different on the surfacebook 2 than on the original. I couldn't find the manual release. In other news I did get a replacement unit which means I have another year of microsoft warranty. :cool:

No it does not. It just says Microsoft Surface Book on the upper left. I'm not 100 percent sure but there I remember there being a sticker either on the side or on the back that states it's actual specs. My box is currently stuffed in the back of a closet that I can't currently get to.
