Same here guys, it's defiantly not our surface's it's YouTube. After the new comment system update, I am pretty sure google is going through maintenance with YouTube and it's causing some delays. It's been over 3 days and I still can't watch a video for a decent time without it crashing!!

You have to clear the cached uninstalled apps in this location: C drive windows Software distribution download Right click and click delete and all the uninstalled apps that have been cached ( Which are ALL of them) will be removed. I do it every month or so and it removes 6-7gb. Good luck:)
