    If you did run trough the initial setup when you received it, then I think you are fine and that something must have triggered the power button during the final stages of the delivery.

    Will SP3 Power a USB BD-Writer?

    Now I know! The SP3 will Power it With its one USB port perfectly well. :) Just tested viewing a BD Movie and it looks great on the screen. Have not tried writing, though. But that is not so important for me.

    MS Store has still just been able to produce a sticker with my name on it. So, s***w them.. I went to a local store and got it...cheaper! :) MS Store can have theirs back when it arrives.. :( So much for preordering 3 months ahead!
