The question isn't how to upgrade. It's why the "#%&"#%& (think about an angry Donald! Duck, not Trump!) an expensive device like the Pro 6, especially higher end models (my i7 512 GB case in point) is not Pro from the start! It's just dumb and cheap of Micro$oft, even if the device is great.

It shure helped me! Thank you! :) My i7 Pro 6 was disappointingly dim when I started using it, and when I followed your lead and uninstalled the display driver it actually got brighter the second the uninstall device window closed, and it stayed bright after a reboot! :D

Sorry, I didn't get a warning of those answers. I have tried to delete and re-add the device. But after the latest Windows update (Fall Creator's Update) it suddenly works as it used to. No idea why, but I'm happy it does.

Yeah, it's the touchscreen, not the touchpad.

I haven't gotten it to work in any way. Kind of weird that there are no paticular settings for clicking and so on for the touchscreen. This is in web browsers (which is just about the only thing I use with the Surface as a tablet), both Firefox and Chrome.

On my Pro 4 this happened out of the box, but not on my new Pro (5....). And I can't find the settings for that either, I have tried dedctivating pinch to zoom from an advice online, but that didn't help. Does anybody know what I should do to get this working?

Thanks! I will try this during the weekend, it seems like I will need a bit of time on that one. :) As for restore, I'm totally anal. I don't do anything to my computer before I have at least two working image backups, and all my files are at the "personal cloud" on my server.
