I would imagine that you need to unglue the display panel. The cameras and maybe even the wifi antennas can then be removed from the plastic. It is easy to imagine that the plastic piece is screwed to the metal back. Not easy I'm sure.

Have you tried one of the battery monitoring apps to see what it shows about the tablet battery capacity?

I would first suspect a poor connection. I would 'wiggle' the keyboard to tablet connection as much as I could and tried to get it to connect better, and hope is charged.

Have you tried to select 'eject' on the menu for that drive. That should un-mount it and accomplish the same thing. Not the best solution, but maybe better than physically pulling it. I'm not sure how to mount it back afterwards though. Other than a reboot or physical reconnect. :)
