Well so far so good. It's working as advertised and doesn't seem to have any issues. Am still configuring it out to my liking and removing all of the crapware on it.

It is huge compared to the 13 inch, and absolutely massive compared to the SP4. Performance wise I haven't noticed much difference between the 13 and 15 inch models yet, then again haven't stressed it out either. Still getting it set up. So far no regrets. :)

Load a fresh image and start from scratch. Personally I have not had any issues with ether my SP4 or SB2. Maybe I just lucked out.

You can't overclock the SB2. Trying to do so would be a great way to fry it, since there is no active cooling on the SB2 13 inch model. You would quite literally be burning money.

Yup the 13 inch variant. Probably switched on a dozen times since I bought it. I now am really in a quandary whether to buy the 15 in model or not. We shall see..

Is there any way of forcing the SB2 to use the 1050/1060 card as the default GPU?

I am not sure whether this is due to the cpu bus or otherwise. I don't have deep understanding at the HW level. Software I could probably explain, HW is pretty much a black box to me.

try sfc/scanow from an elevated command prompt. Disable any 3rd party AV if you're using one. And try running it again. Also make sure you have enough free space on your drive.

Including the built in screen, I believe the maximum number is 3 officially. Having said that there might be hacks around this of which; I am not aware.

I use a XPS15, SP4, SB2 and a Thunkpad.. the only machine I avoid using is the Lenovo. Can't stand the machine.

Try running the system down to about 7% battery and then switch off. Let it charge for about an hour while switched off, then boot and see what happens. Try changing the orientation of the charging plug. Otherwise I guess you will have to have it exchanged.

Depends on which SDXC card you buy. Personally I am using a 128 GB. Works for me.. mainly for backup.
