Hi guys, Just wondering if you have had any experience with USB to VGA/DVI and if there is a preferable brand. I already have one monitor hooked up to the miniDP, so my choices are get the dock (which is a bit expensive) or use a USB to something adapter. What are your thoughts?

I've had the same on my SP3, SP2 and iPhone 5s, all of which have a metal casings, and as Leeshor said other devices have this "feature" too. The reversing plug trick does seem to work sometimes though!

Which version of IE do you use? Metro or desktop? I've had bad experiences on youtube with IE where the video just stops after 10mins and will not load anymore, so taken to using Hyper for Youtube.

I'm pretty certain the temperature would have to be in the high hundreds before the SP3 casing becomes malleable enough to bend or warp. The SP3 will cut off waaaaaayyyy before it ever reached any dangerous temps.
