FWIW, my SP2 gets download and upload speeds about 60-80% faster on my home WiFi than my SP1 did. In the past week I have seen only one instance of WiFi becoming "limited" after sleep, and that resolved after disconnecting and reconnecting to the network. I am happy to be getting 23-24 Mb/sec...

There is a little light bleed on any IPS screen. My SP2 has a little on startup. It is not visible at all during regular use. No big deal.

My SP2 has the Marvell Avastar 350N, but the driver is version 14.69.24044.150, and the "update" says this is the most recent driver. I am getting at least 20-30% faster download/upload speeds on my WiFi compared to the SP1. I have not had any problems with "limited" access or lost connection.

I ordered an SP2 during the morning of 9/24. I haven't gotten notification of shipping yet.

Spoke with MS support. I wound up doing a refresh of my Surface. I don't mind losing installed programs because I will be selling this device next week after I get my new SP2. Interestingly, after the refresh, Windows reverted back to 8.0!!!

I installed 8.1 last night, seemed fine. This am, the entire Desktop is not responding; start button does not show up, no applications will load properly, and IE freezes on startup with an infinite number of open windows. Rebooting does not help Do I try a refresh? Help...

The process should be similar to a routine Windows update; just might take a bit longer. Programs and data should remain unmodified. (Oops, sorry, I thought the question was upgrading from 8.0; I intentionally did not install 8.1 preview due to issue of having to make a clean install...)
