I, too, was part of the group who did not get the updated camera drivers, even though Windows Update would report that my system is up-to-date. Yes, finally they released the April 19th update as a download and then I was able to manually update the camera drivers.

I have the same problem with my SB. I contacted MS Support and I was told that it is a known issue and that they are working on a fix via a subsequent update. My feedback was that if this is a known issue, then there should be some sort of communication so that owners are aware of it.

I just had the issue, but not overnight. I was using it fine this morning, then closed it and opened it several times. I then went off to a meeting, then lunch, came back and opened up to a black screen and manual boot. Oh well, I guess this issue continues post the latest updates. :mad:

I can only hope and pray that--amongst other things--this update finally fixes sleep, dock, and camera issues that a lot of us are still experiencing since the last update. We've been patiently and agonizingly waiting so, please, Microsoft, I hope this update delivers.

I am convinced that the 2016.02.17 update resolved the Power/Sleep issues for a lot of people, but I am also convinced that it did not for a lot of people, too; I'm in the latter group, unfortunately. Post the update, it is still shutting down during sleep; or, black screen and keyboard works...

Same here. I even uninstalled the driver, ran Windows Update, it downloaded and applied the UEFI update, but then the final result was still 88.1085.768.

I installed the Beta 15.40.18.4380 version. I'm on the road during the week so, unfortunately, measuring the results has been limited. So far, though, yes, it resolved the issue but definitely too early for me to come to any firm conclusion.

Yes, twice. I also had an HD Graphics crash a couple of hours ago--something I had not experienced since they made that fix sometime last year. Just now, when I returned home, fan was running on high, system was hot, and I could not wake it up. For me, so far, the system has regressed. :(
