i seen a SP2 on ebay. they guy says it had a i7. i think he was misstaken. his proof seemed to be a SP3 order form. would be neat but i dont think it could happen

i think the3 docking station should have a spot for a GPU. so when docked it can be MACHO. just a pipe dream

if it's the issue i think it is. try putting your 2nd screen to clone. then keep changing the screen resolution until the monitor turns on. if you get what i mean

if you have a way to do a backup on a SD card or harddrive you might be able to restore your old system on your new one. might take some pain out

make sur its the charger . ' try changing charge setting next time.. like go from high power to power save wait abit see if it starts charging. it dose it to me often but i was blaming the power cover or docking station worth a try

i drop mine in. pull it out while on (even when it's hot as hell) i have not had any issue, but i do think somehting is up with my power cover. but thats another story everyday, drop in dock when i get home from work, undock when i take it to bed.. . well.. it stays on my nightstand....

if you got a sp2 i would get a power cover, makes allot of difference. i almost never use it as a keyboard but at least its a cover.

ive had to fight with the resulotion a few times, from what i understand it's a bit picky. try changing the setting for the 2nd display. might take a few tries, its worth a shot. once it works it is AWsome!!. it remembers the hardware profile. even if you have 2 difrent docking stations.

i should take pictures of my SP2. it has replaced desktop/laptop. just wonder what the SP4 will have :D

runs good on my SP2 512/8. i would think it runs fine on newer. i have not done crAzY compiling. im a noob in the programing stuff. but i do like to make things for my phone and surface. knowing half the batle....go joe

i've had my SP2 with power cover turn itself on 2 or 3 times now (in the last few weeks). i know i turn it off (all the way) then stash it on a bookshelf. come home and find out its been on the whole time. i will try taking the power cover off first next time. but it sure seems odd. unless all...

it might be install the drivers touch. i did that and my Corel worked :D

The Power Cover keeps the Surface Battery at 100% until it is drained, at which point the Surface Battery kicks in, during charging the Surface Battery charges to 80% at which point the Power Cover charges to 80% then the Surface Battery charges to 100% and then the Power Cover will finish...

3/4 hours aday kinda a load (ddo) it does get HOT but its in a docking station, and im about to run a fan, but ive been doing it for a long time..well at least july 9th everyday and 5-6 hours at a time on weekends
