How did this work out? I'm on my third Surface Pro (2017) and they've all had bad lightbleed... albeit I can only really notice on the ctrl + alt + del screen so I learnt to live with it.

I've had 3. All with light bleed as well :( but tbh since the initial loading of Windows I've not really noticed it. Microsoft will replace it but I just got fed up in the end!

Same here. I'd of loved to 'upgrade' from my original Surface Pro this time around, but I stuck with i5/4Gb mainly because of the price (I wanted to keep it under a grand) but my usage hasn't really changed in 4 years, and I figured the original done me well over all those years so why bother...

Like others have said... don't worry! My original Surface Pro is 4 years old now and still holding hours of charge; I never did anything special with it :)

I believe now the noise is down to noisy capacitors (possibly related to the power handling module within the Surface itself) I almost couldn't be bothered sending it back, as it's a 2 week wait as minimum in the UK (it has to go back to Germany for some reason) but alas I sent it off today...

Just testing again and it happens even when I'm moving the mouse around! Like not even scrolling or clicking anything. I just refreshed the page and it went crazy lol. Didn't think of testing that but just did and can confirm it happens on both occasions. Worst thing for me is the damn return...

Well finally got my new unit yesterday! Even though I found Microsoft Support pretty dire, at least UPS were spot on. From Germany to my front door in under 24 hours. Anyway from my short test yesterday it seems a little better. Still has a slight delay in initial movement, but no lagging...

You are seriously butt hurt! Sounds like Surface isn't for you. If you cannot use Mac, how about a different brand of Windows computer?
