I preordered my sp3 i5. It shipped on June 20 (friday) and I received it on June 20. I did not pick any special shipping option at time of order.

Ya London drugs is actually pretty good for computer stuff. They price match as well. Just ended up buying one at the MS store. They are still offering free express (1-3 day) shipping, so should get it early next week.

Interesting. Best Buy and Future Shop are sold out pretty much across calgary (and online). As is London Drugs. Local Staples had nothing either.

So, apparently the i5 8/256gig sp3 is hard to come by. At least here in Calgary. It does look like it is available in MS Canada store though. Tried 4 different stores yesterday (plus checking inventory online for a bunch of others) and none to be found. I guess this is a good thing? I hope...

While your argument is a little off if you compare to the plugable 3900, I agree on the power supply. That alone makes pretty much evens out the price between the 3900 and the ms dock. I imagine cheaper power supplies will come out eventually, but until then the ms dock is the way to go imo...

Serious? That is exactly what MS did at the SP3 launch. In fact they were specifically taking aim at the mbp. The sp3 is being marketed as the tablet that can replace your laptop, comparisons to the mbp are valid. Edit: Ignore this post. my bad on mistaking mac book pro for mac book air.

I am talking about the outlook metro app. I do not have this issue in any other program or app - including outlook 2013.

Does this happen to anyone else? If I am composing a message in the outlook app and type in a number and then the foot sign (') and hit space bar, then the number disappears. So if I type: 16' and hit space, the 16' disappears. Quite annoying.

I want to get my wife an SP3. I wish they would just offer a SP3 and keyboard bundle. I don't need a sleeve, already have office 365 and sure don't feel like paying $120 for an extended warranty.

I use chrome for google play music only. gpm on firefox would drop/stutter audio on a regular basis - only on the sp3 though. Never had any issues on desktop.

This issue is not new to this update (has happened to me multiple times). MS says they are still working on a fix for this particular problem. http://www.surfaceforums.net/threads/statement-from-ms.9761/ I can usually resolve the issue by scanning for new hardware (in device manager)...

I really hope they are looking at the 'not coming out of sleep' issue. 3 times over the past 2 days I have locked my sp3, only to have it not come alive after returning to my machine about 10-15 minutes later.
