Hi, Does anyone else have trouble with location services on their SP3? I downloaded AccuWeather as the Bing Weather App doesn't work well in Australia and when it set my location it was wrong. I looked up my location on maps and it couldn't find it. So I switched location services off restarted...

I've noticed this also and yes it's very annoying.

The yellow band annoys me but I guess it's a pretty minor thing on an otherwise flawless tablet. I've decided to hang onto mine as there are many worse things I could get in a replacement. If it gets worse though I'll consider it.

Yeah the clicks need to be very close together, you may be leaving too much time between clicks

I swapped my MacBook Air 2011 for this SP3 and couldn't be happier :) I love it. I love the versatility, that I can just remove the keyboard and browse or watch movies in comfort, but with the keyboard on can use it just like my lappy. It's an awesome device.

I have an i7 and it gets quite warm when updating, but for the most part it's really good. I've had it just over a week and only had the fan cut in at the initial updates and the recent update. It's never got too hot to hold, just pretty warm. I've never had the thermometer icon. On the whole...

I got the purple one, though it's much more of a grey/purple than the one in the image earlier in this thread. I love purple and was really pleased to see a purple keyboard offered :)

Mine all seem to close fine. I looked at task manager and they're not running in the background after I click the X or swipe down and flip the tile and that's after the update so I'm not sure what's happening on your machine.

Thanks guys. I don't really notice them on my other devices, this is the first one where it's stood out. Maybe as someone mentioned it's for the pen. Ah well if I start to notice it too much I'll just stare at the yellow band down the left side of the screen to take my mind off of it ;)

Ah right thank you, so from a battery life perspective for simple things the Metro version is better then. I'll keep it and use them both with that in mind. Thanks for the reply :)

If you log into your account on the store and go to the downloads section of your orders it should give you the promo code there. I don't think mine was actually emailed it just gave me the code to input into the store under my account download options.
