I Just updated to Chrome 35. Pinch and zoom work for me, everything is crystal clear just like IE11. What's not working for you? Macmee, what does that registry edit do? Is it still necessary with Chrome 35? Trying not to muck up my registry if there's no reason to.

Just buy a regular bluetooth/usb keyboard. If you don't like typing on it it isn't going to get any better.

Microsoft isn't supporting anything lower than the Windows 8.1 Update so yes, you will need to keep your device up to date.

Sorry for being vague. They were talking about their device; what I meant is the Surface can't support more than one 3.0 usb port at a time so it will knock the other ports to 2.0.

If I'm not mistaken you can only plug one 3.0 port in at a time so only the first one will run at 3.0, the rest will automatically go down to 2.0.
