there is a sublte difference in the way they ink. the SP3 pen has a thinner line while the SP4 pen has a bit of a thicker line. The main difference is the feel of the pen while writing. The SP3 pen slides more, the SP4 pen has a little bit of resistance. I have them both now and I ink a lot...

this is mine after 10-11 months

my problem with the sp3 keyboard was that the keys were too close together, making me press the adjacent key for a typo at times. The new one has a space between the keys. I like the way it feels when i press the keys.
