Same issue for me. Thought it might be batteries so I replaced them. In middle of meeting with customer went out again. I had to toggled between Tablet and Desktop Mode and back again to make it work. Even then it didn't but suddenly started working again.

Same with mine. I think it's connected Standby that's the issue. Attached screenshot. I have been tracking this since downloaded 10. Been the same issue. I shut off location and Cortana and that helped tremendously. But again, it's always USB Root related.

mine looks almost identical to yours as well. There's something going on with USB that's causing the SP3 to not sleep like it should or continue waking.

Well if that is true then there's another bug. I updated last night at 9pm, closed lid, and at 10am I ran that report. So not sure why it would consume what it does for 2:38.

So I think the last update helped on battery. I also shut off Cortana as that seemed to be a BIG drain. However, take a look at screenshot here. What does WU refer to in red? Apparently this is also taking up a fair amount of battery but I have looked and cannot figure out what it is?

So you can see here what caused the battery drain from sleep study report. I'm a novice at this so trying to figure out what it is that caused it. Almost looks like the machine never went to sleep at all or hibernation. Odd
