There is one other thing I noticed - but this seems to affect the S3 only and not my SP4. Some of the tiles - and it is always the same ones - seem to lose everything on it - no logo - no info (relating to the app) - just nothing. Some of then guilty parties were: Skype, Mail, Nebo, Readit...

Interesting! Is this a 3:2 AR or 16:9? And, the battery life? Does it support the use of the Pen? Lastly, what W10 tablets are there (or immediately forthcoming) which are comparable to the S3? My unit is probably on its last legs. The screen is yellowing horribly and there are these galaxies...

Well, my problem is not the battery life which seems to be as before, but my SP4 is heating up more than usual. The fans seem to be on all the time or most of the time. Any ideas?

Yeah...seriously...on both my machines, indexing is done, all apps updated, no Windows updates pending...but the fan's still on (SP4), its warm to the touch (also on S3). And, battery drops at a much faster rate - well, at least it is noticeable - than before. Why does MS do this all the time...

Hi all... I was just wondering if any one knows if and when we will be able to annotate PDFs on Edge and do stuff like make highlights and add notes to EPUBs within Edge... Not having these capabilities, I think, detracts from the ease of use case that I think Edge is claiming for itself...

...so Edge does not allow for annotating on PDFs and highlighting on EPUBs etc? If yes, thats a let down...back to Xodo/ LightReader then...

I notice a few other things...(1) the fans seem to be on all the time and the SP4 is running quite warm (2) can't annotate PDFs on Edge - and I am guessing can't highlight ePUB on Edge either.... Edit: Btw, both apply to the S3 too!!

Why is Chrome such a battery killer? Is it not well optimized for W10? Also, your sig says "Surface 4"!!!!! Do you know something we don't???:D:D:D

That looks interesting. But not sure about the aspect ratio. I think the Surface nailed that perfectly.
