Thanks for responses. Resolved. In sound settings there were two choices to send sound to - Bluetooth speaker (which it was intended for phone calls) and headset which permitted 2 channel CD quality sound. Default was set to the speaker. Changing to the Headset sorted it out. -:)

Anyone else tried bluetooth audio on the Surface RT. I have bluetooth speaker which sounds great when paired to my first gen iPad and Galaxy S3. It sounds absolutely awful when paired to the surface :mad: I actually bought it because the speaker volume on the surface is so poor

I assume you are talking about the Pro? I have an RT which can only run apps. There is no Corelcad in the RT app store. I did however, find a 2d cad app called "Back to the drawing board". It is pricey however, at $18.99

In fairness I never take mine off the surface and im either typing or flipping it round to the back.

Just noticed that the fabric on my type cover is coming away on the spine. Im not surprised due to the amount of use it gets but has anyone else had experience of this and if so was there a problem getting MS to change?

that's a pain. Is it possible then to create an email template in word and send as an email directly from there? Im looking to see if I can completely replace my old windows XP machine in work with the surface but this could be a deal breaker. On another point why is it on this website I cant...

I also got a bluetooth speaker as i dont like the low volume on surface for skype calls. Connected to a Galaxy S3 the sound is excellent. Connected to the surface the sound is well...crap.

Anyone know if there is an app in the store for viewing autocad files? Doesn't appear to be anything official from autodesk.
