Well, at least I am not crazy, thanks for the info! In my case I don't think I was holding any keys down for a longer than a normal shift keystroke... I'll pay more attention next time to see if I can develop a better repro.

If you're going to use it with the Type Cover flipped behind, you can turn it around so the keys are not on the outside.

I would also really like a cover that's super thin, to protect the screen only--no keys.

Ack, that sucks! Sorry to hear that. Not sure what to try besides flattening it and starting over. If it won't cooperate after doing that, it sounds like grounds for a return to me.

Try removing any cover you may have attached when it reboots.

Rob, I had similar problems while installing an update. When I saw the blue screen telling me that I needed to repair my PC, I told it to reboot and I disconnected the Type Cover 2. Without the Type Cover 2 attached, the SP2 booted normally and was able to finish installing its updates. If...

I already own it through Steam and don't want to re-buy it. Theoretically there's no reason it shouldn't work as well as any other 3d game, but clearly something's goofy with it.
