I use Chrome/Ghostery/ABP. No issues on SP4. I'd like to use Edge more, but I've been using Chrome for so long now - it's hard to transition.

I have both builds that I acquired through the Media Creation Tool, neither include Drawboard. I thought that was specific to the Surface. Drawboard is included in the Surface recovery image though.

Would you happen to know how to do a clean install from the ISO, but yet retain Drawboard PDF? I understand that you get it for free with the SP4, but it will get wiped out when doing a clean install from a Win 10 ISO.

I see two things discussed here. One, drain during HIBERNATE (suspend) and drain during SLEEP (stand by). My rate during hibernate is 0% (Suspend to Active in battery report). I'd be concerned if I saw anything greater than 0 during hibernate. Drain rate during Sleep with latest TH2 and Intel...

Did the Surface team say or hint at what they would change? I am curious to know what they tried to tweak.

I tried that as well, and same as before, unless I modify the inf, it tells me a new version can't be found. After modifying the inf, it goes through the installation process, but then fails.

If I don't modify the INF in the zip extract, it won't install at all. I get the "driver being installed is not valid ...". Did you modify the inf?

I switched to Chrome and have yet to see the crash on the SP4, but I'm sure it will come. My Lenovo W541 laptop now, after the Threshold 2 update, gets them everyday. I can't avoid them!!

Intel released a beta driver yesterday. Hopefully we'll see something soon for the SP4 :/

I highly doubt it. Try answers.microsoft.com, although I don't know if they are real microsoft people either. You could also use the feedback app within Windows 10.

I have a Lenovo W541 laptop (4th Gen i7) that I got in March. I never had a display driver error up until the Win 10 Threshold 2 update. After that, I get a display driver error/crash periodically, which leads me to believe it's a combination of OS/Driver.

The display driver crash doesn't prevent you from using the device. Freezing does. So I can understand why they focused on that first. I think the display driver issues is going to need help from both Intel and Microsoft.
