Hmmm, doubt the fan issue is hardware related as the fan doesn't run under 8.1. It gets going pretty good under W10 even when there are no apparent processes churning the CPU. Who knows? This was a completely clean W10 install. Maybe W10 taxes some defective hardware that W8.1 doesn't...

The one operational thing which confounds me on W10 is the constant fan. In W8.1 my fan rarely blows. In W10 it blows pretty much constantly and in general runs hotter (especially in tablet mode which is pretty much the exact opposite of what a user wants). I wonder if this is something MS is...

One thing I don't get about Project Spartan. Compare Spartan side by side with Chrome and the Spartan font-smoothing is weak at best. Here I am on my super high res screen and fonts are pixelated. How MS? How is this possible you put out your new flagship browser and don't even bother...

No one seems to be making much noise about the new update. After running it, Chrome is now lightning fast with no mouse issues. Apps also load very quickly and the boot time is faster.

Just got a W10 update. After install Chrome seems much happier.
