work-around for missing apps

Not sure if it has been posted before, but I seem to have found a nice work around for twitter and facebook.

Open your twitter or facebook account in Internet explorer. Swipe up and select pin to start. The surface gives the new tile the actual logos for twitter and facebook so they look and open just like the app. works well for me until the apps are released. Now if only there was a work around for flipboard.

MetroTwit and Tweetro are both great apps. There is also Rowi for twitter, which is great on Windows Phone but not so great on Windows 8.

I know it is not as comprehensive but for looking at updates I like using the "People" app included in Windows 8 better than the Facebook website.

Tweetro is my preference. Had a lot of crashes with metro twit.

Why not just use the people hub. Works great and all you have to do is open one app for both services.
