Solved Windows surface pro 4 not charging

So today i decided to upgrade my surface pro 4 m3 for the surface pro 4 i5. The problem i have is that my surface is not charging my battery says "connected but not charging" and as soon as i unplug the charger my surface turns off. I was wondering if anybody knows how to resolve this issue.

Does the light on the connector light up when you plug it in?

Yes the light on the connecter turns on, i dont think its my charger.
I could return it but it was the last one in my city i would have to order one from best buy. I really dont want to do that

Did you get it from a Microsoft Store? If so they can check it out. Even Best Buy might let you test one of their chargers.

Yup my battery was the problem i ended up returning it. And getting me a new one so far ZERO problems![emoji854]
