Way to get IE 10 actively running in the background?

When I run IE 10 in the modern interface and play a music or video on it, the video/music stops as soon as I go back to the start screen or switch to another app. Is there a way to make it so that the music will keep on playing?

I think this has been covered before so you might try a search for more info. My recollection is you can't do that and need to use desktop IE instead.

You can use desktop IE if you want to stream music or video in the background but it won't continue to play if you leave your RT idle, only Apps do that if coded correctly.
