I assume this will work, but want a confirmation before I spend money on a webcam.
I have my Surface 4 Pro connected to a (non-smart) 32 inch TV via a DVI to mini display port cord. To save battery life, I only output the screen to the TV. If I buy a Webcam and have it near or clipped to the TV, will there be any issues with me having successful video chats?
Also - any recommendations for a decent inexpensive webcam - maybe a Bluetooth model, so I don't have to run a long USB cord to the destination?
Thanks
Edit - I've tested, and the the video latency between the Surface 4 Pro and the TV is always .02 seconds, which I can't imagine is a big deal.
