Use Surface dock as USB Hub

hello guys, I got my SP4 i7/16/256 yesterday to replace my Alienware 13 2014 edition...
the first device have a line dead pixel in the middle of screen (pretty bad dead pixel)..luckily the seller replace with the brand new device..the second device is perfectly fine

Loving my SP4 but would like to extend its power. Just out of curiosity is the dock can use as USB hub?? can it work without power cable??

Sure. The new Surface hubs have 4 USB ports plus you have the one on your Surface so it's about the same as having a 5 port hub.

Not in my experience, the dock needs to be plugged in to work....
