type cover question

Can someone with a surface 3 and a type cover tell me if your type cover shows up under devices and printers?

I see my type cover listed in device manager as HID Keyboard Device

the type cover seems to be working ok, but should it be listed as an actual surface type cover?

My type cover doesn't show under devices and printers. In device manager, it's listed as HID Keyboard Device and also there's Surface Type Cover Filter Device.
