Type cover keyboard flat or propped up? Which do you prefer and why?

I like it at an angle, but when I'm in a meeting and need to type something I will put it flat because of the noise.

I agree that it does feel better angled, but then you get keyboard flex whereas having it flat makes it feel so solid.

I actually like the amount of keyboard flex, although maybe it is me and my delicate typing, but I find that is almost unnoticeable. It's been a long while since I used the SP3 keyboard, so perhaps they improved the flex with the sp4 keyboard.

Propped as the screen faces me more directly. The kickstand fits right at my knees when sitting down. Very comfortable.

I like it angled, but now for reasons unknown I'm starting to like it flat.. like that I have more firmness and less noise.. and just feels better to me nowadays lol

Folded back underneath the Surface, ever since the type cover stopped working some days ago. The type cover has metamorphosed into the most expensive screen protector ever... :-\
