Surface RT headphone jack not detected?

I have had my surface RT for around a year now, and I have been satisfied with it. However, recently my surface has not recognized any of my 3 fully functional headphones. Even when I plug in a pair of headphones, nothing happens. Is my headphone jack broken? I would rather not send it to Microsoft, although I am quite annoyed by having to listen to music through speakers rather than headphones. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

I assume you have tried restarting and nothing is showing up as not being detected in device manager. If that's the case it does sound like a problem with the jack.

I have the same problem on my Surface 3. Have you resolved the problem?
