Today I took my Surface PRO 3 to a whole day training.

Nice blog post. The Surface is great for students.

I've used mine several times at conferences. I copy and paste the syllabus into a OneNote page so I can take notes for each speaker with the speaker, topic, time already there. OneNote's Insert Space works great here.

If the speaker has PowerPoint slides on a PDF I open that side-by-side with OneNote, sometimes copying text, other times a Send-to-OneNote clipping of a slide (or even a graph or table from a slide) and can then ink notes right on it in OneNote. On looker's jaws drop when they see me do this.

I took mine to uni yesterday, first day back. It's good to use but the main issue I had is that the Physics rooms are so cramped. Don't really get much desk space, and it made things a little less comfortable than I like, but as expected it was good for my notes and getting started on homework, and also handy in labs.

I did have an issue where a few times, OneNote MUI seemed to randomly change page and draw a line down the screen though.
