Surface Pro 2017 M3 wont turn on

When I press power button on my surface pro I get the window logo flash up then it turns off, it can take anything from 30 - 100 time of pressing the power button before it will power up.
I have tried all the reset procedures and nothing helps.
However today form some reason today after about 20 mins of trying I decided to warm the back with a hair dryer and it started 1st time.
Has anyone experienced the same or got any ideas.

Did you try holding power button down for > 15 seconds first, then try single press to power on? Sometimes they get stuck in a sleep mode and need to be forced off in order to turn on.

Yes I have tried this but no luck.
