HowTo Surface pen won't sign 2nd document.

Hi all, I need help to solve this issues with Surface 3 , I use it with a word add-in to have people sign a word doc when completed , the first document I can sign but I cant get the second word document sign pen wont work , I have several of these devices all work fine but I can recall this issue once before but forgot. Can anyone help please.
