Surface connected to HD-TV cuts of edges

Hi All,

I have a MS Surface Pro and would like to connect it to my HD TV (40inch Samsung).
I've purchased the original Surface Pro DVI to HDMI converter and a new HDMI cable.
When I connect the Surface to the TV the edges of the screen "fall off" the TV.
For example, when look at the desktop only half of the taskbar is visible.

The resolution on the TV is set to recommended (1920 * 1080)

Any idea's on how to fix this?

There will be another option somewhere in your tv options to change that. On my Sony tv its called 'display area' and have options Normal, Full Pixel and -1. I have mine on Full Pixel and its perfect then.
