I have had my Surface 2 for a year and had occasional problems with the charger. These were always minor and were fixed in minutes. However, this time the charger will not work at all.

- The light on the charger is on when connected, however it doesn't charge.
- The top one of the small prong things in the charger slot on the Surface is deeper than the others (is that normal?)
- I have done the uninstall and update method and it has not worked
- It's been starting to work for a split second every now and again
