Surface Book Charger Led Indicator

Hello everybody,

I searched for this but could not really find it anywhere please excuse me if I am mistaken.
So I very recently(yesterday) got my Surface Book. My indicator switched on to white as long as I plugged it in and it started charging. I switched off the device last night (shut down) and I let it charge through the whole night. When I woke up my indicator was still white.
Mind you, the battery was 100%, both of them were at 100% when I switched it on.
Is this normal? Or should it turn green or something when it is fully charged?

The white LED on the Surface Book charger indicates that a connection to the battery is properly made. The battery is charging or maintaining charge. The LED does not turn off when the battery is charged.

Wish it did. Or at least changed colors.

I agree. It would've been nice to know "fully charged" so you feel confident just whisking it away instead of having to open it, turn on the screen, check the battery level, etc.

I think it's more akin to those old Dell laptops: the light just means the charger has power.
