SP7 and GPS...I'm defeated!

I've been trying to get my SP7 to use an external GPS.

Tried the Garmin Glo Receiver and Globalstat USB Receiver...nada.

Anyone have any success with this challenge?

I did use the GlobalStat and managed to install the recommended software to create a COM port. I was successful in establishing a GPS signal with the GlobalStat dongle. Unfortunately, I couldn't the GPS signal and Maps or Google Maps to shake hands.

If I'm spinning my wheels here...please let me know. I'm chasing this down and it's driving my insane.

Did you try shutting down the Garmin and restarting it while connected? Then if that doesn’t work, the same with the Surface while the Garmin is powered up?
