I have a fully updated Surface Pro 4, The pen works well for a short while and then begins to stop for a short while and then begins working again. I can use a finger touch to perform whatever but the pen randomly quits every few minutes. If I then finger touch the screen, the pen will start working again. Occasionally just waiting a few seconds and it will start working again. I purchased a second pen and replaced batteries in both but both exhibit the same problem.

Sorry you are having this trouble, @raznti.
Make sure you are not getting Bluetooth (which uses 2.4 GHz frequency) interference from router(s) nearby, or electromagnetic devices, failing fluorescent lights, poor power grounding, communications equipment nearby, saturated WiFi environments, etc.
Check if the same behavior occurs when your SP4 is in a different location.
