So, I pulled out my Surface Pen (newest version) to try out with my SB2 15-inch. Hadn't used it yet. I was enjoying ink performance in landscape mode -- pretty much immediate inking with zero lag, great tilt, etc. All as I expected.
Then, I switch to portrait mode (using the Windows 10 Sketchpad), and noticed that inking is a bit odd. There's a delay between writing on the screen and the ink settling into its final form -- the only way I can describe it is it's like writing with a watercolor brush only the paint sort of condensces from a wider/thinner stroke into a narrower/thicker stroke. Inking doesn't lag -- it finishes exactly as I pull the pen off the screen -- but the display seems like it sort of runs behind in writing the ink.
Is anybod else seeing something like this?
