random cursor movement

I have had my Surface Pro 3 for 1 week now and I am experiencing some maddening issues. At random the cursor moves to the top center of the screen. It will start resizing windows at will. I unplugged it from the docking station, and unhooked the power cable and am still having this problem. I cannot work on anything for more than 5 minutes without this stupid thing jumping around. Help, please.

After working with tech support, it turned out to be a screen calibration issue. All fixed and working!

I've read bad things can happen after doing a screen calibration. I've steered away from doing one, not that I think I need to do one. Just curious, how did you do yours or did MS tech support hand hold you through it?

I've had this happen before as well and the only way I was able to resolve it was to do a hard reset on the SP3.

We did a hard reset and he walked me through the very easy process of touch/pen calibration. Works like a charm now.
