Just a question a bit off topic

but on the sd card, can we install a program? I mean use it as it is an hard drive, so for example we want to install Skype for deskop, Photoshop or other, can we use that micro sd hard drive? or this is not possible?
Although I have no actual experience in that, I believe it is highly possible. People even put entire OSes in thumbdrives and boot from there. So changing installation path for programs to that shouldn't be an issue.

Because if it is really possible a Sp3 i3 it's really a bargain then, just the 4gb ram is few may be, but as back up or to run a desk with 2 sp3 i3 could be a great idea.

Yes, but running software from the SD card will be a lot slower than running it from the SSD.

I have also seen in these forums an above average level of complaints about the SanDisk cards used with the SP3.

@Sassi, let us know your new one does.

I've also had issues with a SanDisk 64gb Ultra "disappear" from my SP3, losing all data. I've since bought a 64gb Samsung pro and have no issues, with ~70MB/s write speeds.
