Hi,
I have a new Surface Pro 2017 with O365
In excel, when I start a new sheet en draw a border around a cell, i cannot see that border.
only when i zoom in to 200% or more, the border becomes visible (sometimes)
Seems that resolution is not correct but display is set at recommended resulotion in Win10

What can be done about this?

Please post screenshots, Peter. It will help us all understand the issue.

“Draw a border...” do you mean with a pen, or by formatting cells?

it is drawing a border via the cell formatting. no difference in the thickness choosen.
I will try to make a screenshot when I'm at home

Peter,

Use that drop down border menu and make a series of cells with the various border thicknesses, label the cells, and send a screenshot. It is difficult to diagnose from the picture you sent.

Okay thanks for that. Very clear now. Not good.

Are you using custom display resolutions?
What version of Windows 10 are you on? Should be 1903. (Settings, System, About)

I’m on win10 version 1903. Resolution is on the default recommended resolution of 2736x1824 and 200% zoom
