Physical buttons stopped working

The volume and windows physical buttons have stopped working since the newest windows update. Ive reformatted and nothing, I've also tried the holding up volume and power button trick. the screen flashes and then when I releasw it just starts up.
Any other tips or tricks?

Hmm. I wonder if disabling the buttons, and then re-enabling them, would fix it? I wouldn't recommend it, but since you did a wipe already?..

Yeah I formatted the whole thing. Thinking its hardware issue but it only happened after recent update.

I don't think it would be hardware, since you held the buttons down to do a hard reset and it registered that input. But you did a wipe and its still present. Did you refresh or did you perform a recovery, ie factory rollback? After doing so, do the buttons work if you don't perform a windows update?
