Pen to text app

Is there any app that would allow input from a pen to be entered as text on the Surface? I have a small Fujitsu Lifebook tablet that allows me to use my pen to enter text into Microsoft Excel, and would like to be able to do the same thing on my Surface 2 tablet.

The built in keyboard takes ink input.

With the Keyboard open, in the lower right corner there is a key that looks like a "Keyboard" press it and select the Hand Writing Input Panel it has the pen on the icon
