Solved Outlook 16 beta on Surface Pro 3

I've gotten the Office 16 Beta via my Office 365 subscription. I installed it on both my Yoga 2 Pro and new-to-me Surface Pro 3.

While it works quite well for dealing with my outlook mail account, on the Surface Pro 3 it will not work with my iCloud stuff. Just hangs wanting to be logged into iCloud mail.

OTOH, on the Yoga it works fine with both outlook mail and icloud. Both machines started with Office 13.

Haven't figured out why this is, but I did notice that the installation screens for Office 16 are different than what they were when I first got it on the Yoga 2 Pro.

Perhaps the difference between 32bit and 64bit versions? I'm just guessing here...

ps. Shame it still doesn't do a universal mail inbox

Turned out it was a user error. I had completely forgotten that Apple uses a 'generated' password for mail when you use 3rd party mail clients. Oddly I could use the real password with previous versions of Outlook.
