Just to let you know guys, I took the jump and installed the new Surface pro 4 typecover in my old Surface Pro first gen and it works like a charm. Almost better than in my Surface pro 3. I didn't find this info anywhere online so I was risking killing my brand new typecover.
My Surface Pro pins were stuck I couldn't even call the screen keyboard when I touched the screen, this typecover also unstuck that. I am hyper happy. Love Microsoft products.
