MS Surface Pro v1...Not connecting to wifi after update.

I have an original MS Surface Pro that's been working great until I updated it to Windows 10 version 1607 back in October 2016. I don't have any programs loaded onto it, and have basically used it for internet only.
Now, this unit doesn't connect to the internet and my MS office programs will not work at all...this is a problem...

Can anyone assist??
