I sent mine on monday, scheduled tomorrow.

I'm impressed, and I hope the one I'll receive is also new (and works well....)

how was their packaging?

The packaging was basic to say the least. It was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap so the tablet could move about and rattle in the box. The one I sent them was wedged into a graphics card box with so much bubble wrap I could just about shut the box. Saying that though, it did arrive in one piece and - 63 updates later - it is working well. Glad to have a Surface back in my hands.

mine arrived too. looks new. terrible packaging as well....


initial battery report shows less full capacity than design, but that should be corrected on the first full recharge, but at least now it can read the values.

kickstand not as solid as the previous but really good.


for the moment kudos to microsoft for a 4 days reparation (sent monday 6pm, received thursday 2pm)
