Here's a bit of interesting news from Qualcomm that may hint of a more powerful Microsoft Surface Tablet (Surface 2), or an entirely new piece of hardware from the software giant. Pocket Lint is reporting that Qualcomm is going to package the Snapdragon 800 processors in tablets that support Windows 8.1 RT before the year is out. For those of you unfamiliar with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 it is quite the performer. The Snapdragon 800 processor features an integrated multimode 3G/4G LTE modem with CPU speeds of up to 2.2 GHz per core. Other highlights include USB 3.0 and support for Windows RT 8.1 features and services.
