Mail app issues

Here's my problem...so I have the mail app sync to both my Yahoo and AOL mail. When I go to the Yahoo site, I am still able to view all of my mail. But when I go to the AOL site, all mail that was synced with mail app is not available. What is the setting to keep my mail on the AOL server so I can still view on both the Surface mail app, and the AOL site?

You might need to go into the settings on the AOL website and see if there is a box to leave copies on the server on the AOL website side of things. Also do you know if you used the appropriate imap settings for both when adding them to the Surface?
